In 2025 I completed an intensive, two week art residency near Perugia, Italy. Affiliated with American University, the ACI Residency offered dedicated time to create that I’d been craving in a new setting. Living and working with a dozen other artists, studio work and educational day trips culminated in an end-of-program showcase open to the public. I experimented with painting in gauche, oil, and acrylics on the nine acre property.
